Hi! My name is Melissa. I am a student artist who works with both fine art and digital mediums. I am currently studying Art and Design at Sacred Heart University, with concentrations in Studio Art and Graphic design, and minors in Illustration and Fashion Marketing and Merchandising. I strive to challenge myself with every piece I create, building a body of work that represents my personal interests or emotions while pushing creative boundaries.

With every new project, I ask myself what I have not done before and what I don’t know how to do yet, and use that as an opportunity to learn and develop as an artist and designer. In my paintings, I try to capture feelings and moments of time that stand out to me in visually compelling ways. My graphic design work, while sometimes more functional, is not any less conceptual or creatively driven. I enjoy designing mockups for my favorite brands, experimenting with product and packaging design, and developing unique concepts that tell a story and engage the viewer.
